Do you approve of Obama's decision to skip the Memorial Day ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery to go on?

Because he's going to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on Memorial Day. http://www.cem.va.gov/cems/nchp/abrahaml... You know, Arlington isn't the only place where veterans are buried.

Some people see tradition as unnecessary. I can only think that he would make such a politically unpopular move because this is what he believes. I can't understand otherwise.

I understand where he's coming from if he is but I don't understand why anyone would choose this as the moment to make that move. He's going to go to the Abraham Lincoln Cemetery in Chicago I believe but why not just avoid all the flak that's coming his way by justing showing the "respect" that is traditionally shown. It won't hurt the President.

Obama hates the military. He even went as far as to say mis-pronounce on purpose "Corpsmen" as "Corpsemen" Why would he care about going to Arlington on memorial day?

It's tradition for the Commander-In-Chief to go to the Arlington Cemetary on Memorial Day to honor our fallen soldiers. Just goes to show he really doesn't give a crap about the traditions of our country.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
