Do you bake on the shiny or dull side of aluminum foil?

It just doesn't matter. The difference in the shiny/dull side is simply a result of the manufacturing process....

I put the shiny side toward the food, but I suspect it really doesn't matter, unless it's a situation where the foil must reflect light and heat (such as a concentrator for a solar oven).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
