I doubt it. He is used to being a dictator, and as President he can not always get his way. He would be an interesting President though.
I don't think he'd be such a politician. He would be more of a straight shooter. If he just becomes another politician, then he will fail miserably.
Government is not particularly run in the same sense as business thus Trump's orientation to make a profit might create some confusion. There are some common grounds in that whether you are talking government or private sector business, you do need a budget to use as a guide for your spending. You do need spending limits and priorities.
You do need to keep your spending within the levels of your revenue streams. All those factors are common. Outside of that, the focus in government becomes one of efficiency...how much can you provide in terms of service and infrastructure at the most efficient cost.
That is one of the most poorly done aspects of government because so few understand it. It is not understood or appreciated because it does not make a profit but it does have everything to do with how big government becomes and how much it costs to run the government...thus it is a huge concern. Governments, for the most part, are about compromise and that compromise is not always in the best interest of efficiency, spending, or the future.
Private sector businesses make their decisions on revenue streams, the future, profits, and return to stockholders. There is accountability. Unfortunately the American voter does not have an attention span that requires accountability so the same old tired people keep living in Washington.
I am not saying that Trump would be bad, but he would not necessarily work any miracles either. WB.
It takes more than .... what trump have to offers, because of his million he wouldn't gave a rat ass... about other folks and their way of life.... "cut he is fired in my eyes" Trump just enjoy your millionsand go fishing... we need a President who is really going to care about the citizens, and how to get the country back on track. One again "you are fired" before you are hiredgo and make your millions.....
I don't think so. Running the government, in many ways, is different than running a business. There has to be more compromise and the needs and will of the people have to be put ahead of business decisions.
I doubt very much that Trump would make a good president. I don't like nor do I trust anyone who has been involved the way he has been in 'reality' television. There is this to consider plus the fact that he is arrogant. As for style, he always seems to have a bad hair day.
He would be battling up hill to prove to me that he was for real as in honest and decent and wanted to actually do a good job.
Noooooo. He is commonly seen as a jerk, and more of a businessman than a politician. I see it like when the Governator was elected- its more for publicity and for a change of pace, but we pretty much know they're gonna bomb...
No, its doubtful he can put anything before himself, including the well being of the country. I could see potentially him doing some good as a financial adviser if he was restricted in what he could or could not do, since of all the candidates he does seem to have the most experience dealing with numbers that are close to the national budget.
No. He is full of himself, always talks about him. He doesn't care about other people.
I think he is not clean in his head.
The first rule of real estate used to be - location, location, location. Now of course it's publicity, publicity, publicity. Trump has threatened to run for president before and he'll do it again.
Modern day PT Barnum.
Well hes done wonders with his copious amounts of property so im pretty sure that justifies that he will be a a good president(SARCASM).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
