I certainly do. Not everything is a conspiracy, but there are a lot of them out there, mostly, IMHO, to cover up things that happened that shouldn't have. In other words, it was not exactly a planned thing.

Then again, there are some planned things. Watch "Loose Change: The Final Cut" with an open mind and you will never believe the story the government put out about 9/11 again. Not to say the government DID it, just that we don't know the truth about it.

Same with JFK assassination - the story put out can't possibly be true. Oswald was, as he stated on camera shortly after his arrest, a patsy.

It cracks me up that people believe in Government Conspiracies. This is the same Government that, apparently when not engaged in a conspiracy, is being ridiculed by everyone on the planet for being inept and incompetent. The same government that can't manage to keep its sexual exploits out of the tabloids, that can't manage to avoid dropping F-bombs while being recorded, that can't manage to pass a budget until minutes before a shutdown.... and somehow people think these people are masterminds capable of pulling off massive conspiracies without anyone being able to prove it?

Neither believing nor disbelieving. There is no way to know for sure, so how could I reach a conclusion? .

I don't believe Kennedy's assassination was a conspiracy because 1) Lee's own brother said that Lee never worked with anyone. 2) Oswald had already tried for fame by shooting at a general who happened to live in the Dallas area, but he missed. 3) Ballistics are consistent with a high-powered rifle from that book warehouse--after all, our own military trained him to be that accurate; why do so many think he needed help?

However, in the year 2000 election, BOTH candidates are members in good standing of the Yale University Skull + Bones Club death cult. I think that is more than coincidence. Then we're force-fed eight years of "I H8 GWB" such that this smooth-talking junior senator comes along and promises 'hope and change."

Two years later, we're still in the same two idiotic land wars in Asia, we're still kidnapping and hiding people we want to tortu, uh, interrogate, our government is still stealing our communications without the legally required warrant, we're still spending money we don't have on junk we don't need to bankrupt the nation, and now we're into a THIRD WAR! I think that was a conspiracy, too. We were conned, and conned good.

The thing to remember is that nobody will engage in a conspiracy that does not either protect his job, or line his pockets. So yes, I can believe there was a conspiracy to relax safety regulations on oil rigs, to allow them to work cheaper and faster; and I can believe that oil speculators prefer unrest that gives them an excuse to raise prices. However, I have not seen any rationale for, say, the 911 attacks that did not involve a massive amount of risk for extremely low gain.As you say, there may be no limit - but it requires the almighty dollar.

The most ridiculous CT I have heard was that the organizations behind the government food for the poor programs are trying to kill off their "customers" through malnutrition - completely fails the logic test. Nobody in their right mind would deliberately kill off their customer base.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
