Yes children who don't respect elders have no respect for themselves. As they grow they can chose who to give respect to but when they are young they have to learn the understanding of respect. Children when young will usually be mad at people who won't give them or do what they want.

They will learn to respect these people as a lesson to control their own feelings when they don't get what they want. As they get older it will also teach them how to keep feelings to themselves that shouldn't be expressed publically and this will help them later in life. As you can't like all the people you work with.

Wholeheartedly. So long as the elders are just and right. :) I say so because my mom and my relatives disowned me for loving and marrying outside the URL1 marriage is so far three years long.

Three of the four of their children who married within the race are divorced. I think the longest lasted a year.My in laws supported us, they knew it was tough for me, my husband and them, but they still supported us. Funny how that works.

I think I understand now why so many people (even out of arranged marriage cultures), marry to make their parents (and in laws) happy. It is not only the fear of parents losing respect for them, but it is also to keep those ties. Cause once you lose them, they are hard to justify rebuilding that relationship.

No, I think it's important children learn to respect people that have earned respect. I know people older than me that don't deserve respect, and I would not expect my children to respect them. I feel a child should be taught to offer respect when respect is earned not based on a general rule.. oh, you're older than me.. I respect you.

I absolutely believe that it is important to teach my children to be respectful of their elders. Respect is such an important concept; in order to receive respect, you have to give respect, and you have to earn it yourself. Being respectful is basic human kindness, and it is critical that children learn this value from a very young age.

Of course, I do teach my children safety issues as well. They can be respectful and kind without sacrificing their safety. I expect them to hold doors open for everyone (not just their elders), and to help someone who is in need, even if it is just helping them bring in their groceries.

However, I do not expect them to provide personal information, go up to strangers, or do things that make them feel uncomfortable. Thank you for asking. Respect and kindness should be used more often.

To teach children piano, there is another thing I have found essential. This is not about the actual teaching or the piano student, but about me – the teacher. It’s important to have a sense of fun.

If you enjoy teaching, that comes across to the student. If you’re having fun, they’re much more likely to have fun. We need to get away from that image of the piano teacher with the ruler in her hands rapping the knuckles!

Piano is fun! There are times for fun but unfortunately, there are some times when you need to be strict.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
