Do you believe that parents sometimes try to relive their lives over again through their children?

Oh absolutely! Have you ever seen Toddlers and Tiaras? Some people think they have kids in order to make up for all the mistakes they made earlier on and to continue pursuing their dreams vicariously through.

They want them to be doctors and lawyers and presidents and blah blah blah. I look at it as child abuse, personally. How cruel to actually think you have a right to cancel out an entire individual with their own feelings and thoughts and dreams, and replace them with your own after already living so much of your own life?

What, you get two? Where is the child's life? Such a shame.

What they do is say "I know what I did wrong and I will tell my children how to avoid that. " But the reception to this information is to say "They want to relive their lives. "Why would anyone do that?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
