Do you believe that the music of Elvis Presley continues to influence the music of today?

ABSOLUTELY it does! S music is prevalent by degrees in rock, country, and gospel music - and it will stay that way for years to come.

The music which arose from the 50's and 60's will forever influence music and the artists who make it. I am not sure that Elvis from a musical standpoint will occupy that space but I know he will from the standpoint of his abilities as a performer and a showman. Elvis had good looks...almost god-like so he could have been much less talented and still survived as an icon with the women...as has been proven time and again. No doubt, he did have a great voice...probably his finest attribute in terms of true talent.

But ultimately, he was a showman and his influence on the downstream will be his showmanship. To the contrary, the Beatle were not that dynamic as "showmen" but they brought a newness and a true musical ability to the day in the 60's...they singularly changed the face of music and the way in which it was played an performed from that time on. Three of the four will always be looked upon as musical pioneers who brough a legimacy to rock n' roll that it did not have until they arrive on the scene.

WB.

Yes, that is why he was labeled the" King of Rock-n-Roll. The music we hear in today's groups have definitely influenced them but they don't have the swagger like Elvis did.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
