Do you believe you have a guardian angel?

I do. I think that if I didn't, I would not be sitting here right now. I have been in nine (yes, nine) car accidents in the nine years that I have been driving, with three vehicles totaled, including two within 24 hours of each other.

I was T-boned by a sheriff's deputy the day before my senior prom, and I walked away without a scratch (nothing but muscle strains), and I've never been seriously hurt in any of my accidents. If that's not a guardian angel looking out for me, then I have the best luck in the world (and a bulls-eye painted on the side of my car).

Yes, without a doubt I have had too many close calls and strange situations to not believe that I have a guardian angel watching over me. To sum up one of the more memorable situations, I came within seconds of being crushed by a tractor trailer on the highway. I had slowed down because I kept seeing orbs of light that distracted me.

I don't know if I have a guardian angel, but I do believe in angel and I do believe God's providence protects me -- Yes, I have a couple stories like that, I will share one now: Well, this one involves only a game so there would be no dread consequences other than losing but still ... I was going to go to the Navigators Christmas party at WIU, my brother was not going so I asked to borrow his T-shirt. At the party people were playing all sorts of games and it was a lot of fun. One of the games was a table tennis game, I believe is called "Around-the-World."

The way you play this game is that an unlimited amout of players all have paddles and take turns hitting the ball back and forth as they run around the table. When you miss you are out of the rotation and eventually the last player standing wins. Anyway, they had been playing a long time and every time either Joe M.

Or Jeanne S. Were winning and so the others who were playing invited me and several more to play as they thought the more they had the better chance there was of beating Jeanne or Joe. Well, people were getting knocked out and though I had never played this game before, I found myself left with only Jeanne and Joe.

Joe also served to Jeanne and his service was unhittable and so Jeanne was out. Yet, now I had a chance to serve to Joe. I served to Joe and my serve was okay.

Yet, he returned it easily and it would appear I would lose because I would have to run all the way around the table and pick up the paddle and return the shot which really was impossible. Anyway, my paddle was left on the table in the perfect spot. Joe's shot hit the edge of it just right so that the ball SHOT OFF IT without me even needing to touch it PERFECTLY to land back on Joe's side, of course it was also impossible for Joe to get all the way around the table and so I won easily.

Yet, not only that but the T-shirt that my brother had lent me said on it "If God be for us who can be against us" Romans 8:31 .

1 Great story Rowan-Tree - I hope your luck gets better even with someone looking out for you. :) .

2 Thanks - it's been a while since I was in an accident, and I have decided that I am just going to buy a tank if my new car gets totaled. :D .

My answer is yes to both questions." (11 answers).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
