Do you care about what's "in fashion/style" ,or do you dress the way, you want, and don't care?

I never really cared when I was younger, and I certainly don't care today! Jeans, a shirt and a pair of boots does it for me. And, I don't really care what anybody says or thinks about my "fashion sense" - never did, still don't.

One exception: The one (1) and only time I went to a disco in the '70's....I had my polyester suit, shirt, the whole outfit. That was it - and the only reason I did it then was to impress the woman I was with at the time because she was big into disco. We broke up shortly after that - as soon as I got my hearing back after being deafened by "YMCA" and other goodies.

I think I got $20 for the outfit at a yard sale a few years later! .

That's why I got into higher education.....you can dress like a bum, let your hair grow long and nobody cares. They think of you as being the "eccentric" professor.

I don't care about what's in-style but I don't like to look like a slob LOL. I wear clothes that look nice and fit, but I don't stay up-to-date with the latest trends and I care more about saving money than spending it.

YEP! Me too! Thanks!

I still care to a degree but not as much as I did when I worked every day. I always worked in industries where appearance was important. Now, that I'm retired I have different interests and dress much more casual (more slacks), although still neat and clean.

I don't think everything that is "in fashion" looks good on everyone, and it is just silly to wear something that is "in" but looks awful on you, I find that I gravitate towards clothing that is flattering for my figure. For example, I like things that make me look like I have a waist (we did not get them in my family). What a waste.

:)And skirts/dresses that do not hit me in the middle of my calves , which are kind of muscular, as they make my legs look chunky. And I'm not that great in shorts. Definitely a dress girl....

Uh.... no thank you -- I don't eat red meat, only brown.

Uh...no - Still red meat (unless cooked brown as described earlier), .

I didn't see the pic of the hamburger the first time. I will take is sans bun, for a 'low carb protein burger". Right now, anyway.

But in Ireland, I had to have half of a slice of brown soda bread (or wheaten bread" in N. Ireland). Speaking of which, N.

Ireland did not seem like Ireland. I asked a man in a restaurant at lunch who said he was born and raised in Ireland if he considered himself British or Irish. He said, "British".

Nuff said.

Our tour guide told me that even the Republican nationalists may answer this way because that would be the PC party line, and they are trying to avoid violence. How sad.

Mine was the maxi skirt! " "Did you ever have a fashion "miss"?" "why fashion or boots? " "What is your guilty pleasure in regards to fashion?

" "Fashion advice, please!" "what do you think about fashion?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
