Do you feel sorry for Elin Nordegren, Tiger's wife?

I was in a marriage in which I found out he cheated on me multiple times. I did not know while it was going on, as he was very, very good at hiding it and lying and manipulating people. We lived in a small town - pop 500 - and so everyone knew about it, just like with Tiger and Elin.

I filed for divorce when I found out because I was CRUSHED! He offered me money - not 5 M..lol - but offered to pay for the house and anything I wanted to stay with him and not "humiliate" him by leaving him over that. I felt like Alice in Wonderland falling down the rabbit hole.

Regardless of the fact that they have millions of dollars and she is getting a settlement, it does not pay for how he hurt her heart. To love someone enough to get married, have children, have a family, and have a life is to give that person a piece of you that is not "for sale". I do feel for Elin because I will never forget what I felt the day that my ex-husband confessessed all of his indiscretions to me.

The money can help so she is not fighting to survive as a single mom, but it will not fill the hole in her heart and soul that has been left by this.

I am a wife and a mom of three. If my husband had carried on like this, I would be humiliated. Add to that the fact that many of these women who claim to have been with her husband are now disclosing intimate details about him and their supposed relationships...I don't blame her for moving out.

She's done an admirable job of supporting his career (at least in public anyway) and keeping herself out of the limelight. She's obviously a very private person and for her to put up with all this tabloid scrutinty because her husband is a jerk....she and the children deserve sympathy and privacy. He, on the other hand, deserves everything he gets.

No I do not feel sorry for her. She is Tiger's wife and with the infidility claims being made surely she had to have a clue that something was going on. I'm sure she is being well compensated and actually I think she should be left alone by the media.

There are more important issues at hand for the media to be concentrating on other then another celebrity marraige scandal.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
