Labor unions are funded by collecting dues from the members. Public employees are citizens, and their money is their money. They should not be controlled any more than any other citizens are.
The state of WIsconsin used to collect the dues from the employees and then give it to the unions. The central question of whether the money belongs to the employee who is then free to give it to the unions begs the question of where in all of this hoopla is the taxpayer being represented. The answer to that question is NOWHERE.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
