In October, in Corpus Christi Bay you can expect to catch spotted seatrout, red drum, sand seatrout, southern flounder, sheepshead and many other species of fish. You can fish of the Port Aransas Jetties, the surf, and areas of Corpus Christi Bay shoreline at no charge. Some areas of the gulf shoreline may require a beach parking permit which can easily be obtained at local convenience stores.
