No. You don't have to name an executor in your will. If you don't, a family member can request the appointment after your death.

The court will appoint whoever petitions for that position unless there are objections.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
