Do you let junk mail pile up in your email inbox, or do you clear it out message by message as it comes in?

I am usually one of the “pile” persons who lets her inbox collect up to 300 new messages prior to checking them and deleting them in the process. This may sound extreme, but trust me, 300 messages is not much per day when your email is well-known to thousands of junk mail sites. This is all I seem to receive these days and I have considered closing my account and starting over fresh.

However, my email account is my main account that I have had for over 12 years and giving it up would mean I would have to transfer many files, messages, photos and other items over to a new email. I just don’t think I have the time for that much added work at this moment. I have in the past sat down to check my email only to see new messages coming in minute by minute.

Sometimes it becomes quite tedious to delete so much mail, but I am not so technologically savvy to figure out how to block all these unwanted emails. I guess I will just have to be careful where I write down my email address in the future.

I have 3 different email accounts: one for personal use, one provided by work, and one shopping account. Most of my junk mail is sent to the shopping account, that I use for all of my online shopping. I let the junk mail in that account pile up forever. In my other accounts, if something spammy gets through, I delete it right away.

I just let it sit until the computer deletes it. I don't bother to look at it as it wouldn't be in junk mail if it were important.

I let it pile up for a couple of days and then I kind of skim through it. I don't read every message I just look quickly through it to see if something was sent there that shouldn't have been and then I hit the empty button.

I try really hard to go through my junk mail everyday and delete the ones I have no need for. I sometimes will be so busy that I have to admit that I scan through my email to see what's there, open the ones I feel need attention and then try to come back later. Unfortunately, when I do that, I regret it later, because then there is just more junk mail when I get there to clean it out.

I realize if I would do it every time I check my email it would be much easier, but you know how that is. :-).

I let them pile up at my account in yahoo because I know there's nothing valuable going on there. It's just an email I use to register for something. At gmail account, my main account, I check it now and then because I am afraid that some non junk mail get sorted accidentally into Spam.

But generally I let them pile up and delete them all at once.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
