Do you need a Degree in Criminal Justice to become a Police officer?

No it doesn't matter I'm planning on being a police officer for the City of Detroit while I'm going to school to become a Doctor and for Detroit you don't have a Associate Degree to become a Police Officer. Just a High School Diploma.

Some police departments require applicants to have some college or a college degree. Some police departments do not require any college. Most police departments do not require any particular major.

There are many good majors for police officers. You should choose a major that interests you and that might also be useful for police work. Criminal justice is fine, but many people would suggest choosing another area of study.

Psychology, business, communications, a foreign language, and computer science are some examples of majors that could be useful for police officers. Whatever major you choose, think about getting a 4 year degree, and try to get the highest grade point average that you can. Best of luck!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
