Specific items are not required unless you are attempting to breed a specific pokemon such as a Snorlax where if you have the Snorlax hold Full Incense while it's in the Daycare then when an Egg appears what will hatch is a Munchlax rather than a Snorlax. Certain items like Destiny Knot, Everstone, and Light Ball also affect what happens during breeding where Destiny Knot passes down the holders IV's to the baby, Everstone passes down the holders Nature, and Light Ball makes a baby Pichu learn Volt Tackle as an Egg Move.
No you do not need specific items in order to breed Pokémon in Pokémon Alpha Sapphire however you do need specific items in the event of wanting to breed Pokémon in order to get certain baby Pokémon such as Wynaut, Mime Jr. and Budew, a Full Incense will allow you to breed for Munchlax, a Lax Incense will allow you to breed for Wynaut, a Luck Incense will let you be able to get Happiny Eggs, Odd Incense will allow you to have Mime Jr. Eggs, Pure Incense will allow you the chance to have Chingling Eggs, Rock Incense will give you the chance to have Bonsly Eggs, Rose Incense will allow you to have Budew Eggs, Sea Incense will allow you to have Azurill Eggs and the Wave Incense will allow you to have Mantyke Eggs.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
