Do you pick at scabs?

All the time................ I pick all the time. I can not help it. Some times it takes twice as long for a scab to heal completely because I keep re-picking it.

The sad thing is the older you get the longer it takes to heal. Things seem to scare more than they used too.

You think if you just rip it off it will be better but.................. NOOOOOOOOO then it starts to bleed again. They you think why did I do that? I was just fingering......a cut on my nose as I read this question.

I though yes I do. But why. Know you've got me thinking why do I do this?

I don't know, what a question.It's like it a magnet. Everytime you stop thinking about it your hand is back there picking at it till it's gone. It's like an obsession.

Constantly! I don’t know why but I just can’t help myself and being a diabetic picking at scabs is a very bad habit for me to have. I cut a place on the outside of my right knee the other night when I stumbled to the bathroom in the dark and hit my leg on the corner of a cedar chest.

Now that the scab is there I sit and pick at it every night when I am about to go to bed. I can’t understand what I get out of picking like that because it usually hurts and I am not a fan of pain at all.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
