I judge a burger restaurant on the quality of its chicken sandwiches and fish sandwiches. If it is is reconstituted chicken or fish then it isn't on my radar. Second, the quality of the bread.
Bad bread destroys a good sandwich. Third, the quality of the lettuce and tomatoes. No overripe tomatoes or wilted lettuce for me.
Last, if the cheese is processed American cheese crap, yuck. Real cheese only need apply.
McDonalds, Burger King, or Wendy's really don't get my vote, but Burger King works in a pinch. Normally, the nondescript mom-and-pop burger bar gets my money.
I'm not quite sure why tomhanks13 partially duplicated my answer.
Of the three chains you mentioned, I like Wendy's burgers the best. Given a choice of any chain, I will go with In-N-Out. But there are a couple of mom and pop restaurants around town that put them all to shame.
I used to think Burger King had the best tasting burgers, being a former fan of the Whopper. As most things do, as one gets older, tastes begin to change a little bit and now my preference is for the McDonald's Double Quarter Pounder. That said, ever since McDonald's came out with the Angus Mushroom and Swiss burger, I've been hooked on that. So, these days I switch back and forth between the Mushroom and Swiss and the Double Quarter Pounder.
Of the three you mention I like Burger King's Double Whopper with cheese the best! If I can pick any fast food chain I have to pick the1/3lb thick burger from Hardee's (hold the mustard please! ) Best fries goes to McDonald's with Windy's a close second!
I too have become hooked on the new McDonalds Angus burgers! Nothing else quite satisfies. The #6 meal is my current favorite.
Unfortunately, they are a bit expensive (over $6 with tax). When on a budget, I will get a couple of the Burger King Whopper Juniors. Not too bad for the price.
I prefer McDonalds, in general, because they offer consistently good food and service. One funny story -- I once visited a McDonalds in Los Angeles during a very busy time. Someone was obviously not paying attention because they served me a hamburger WITHOUT the bottom bun!
They corrected the problem, fortunately. Would I like fries with that? Yes, as often as possible.
Daniel, there was a time in my life when I thought a Whopper w/ cheese or Whopper JR w/ cheese met the guidelines for the (5) basic food groups! Now that I'm older, (Not terribly old, 46 and look'n good! ) I don't do the fast food joints anymore.
But when I did...chile'...it was Burger King ALL THE WAY!
I have had a good burger though at Red Robin. They have a burger with a fried egg on it...YES AN EGG, that is out of this world!
I like McDonald's. They are the global giant. McDonald's are present in many countries.
They hold 40% market share in US. Many other countries it is same or may be much more than that. But I highly commend how Jollibee of the Philippines fight with the global giant.
Jollibee is the number 1 in Philippines and industry analysts say "if McDonald’s is the Goliath of fast food, Jollibee is its Filipino David". Jollibee holds about 65% market share in the Philippines. You can see many things about Jollibee and their fight against McDonald's, in my Hub Jollibee Vs McDonalds - Filipino burger kings fight against global giant.
I hate hamburgers, I love to visit McDonald's and I enjoy each time I go over there.
I prefer burger king definitely..... Mcdonalds burgers don't have many choices. The taste of burger king better still.
McDonald is my first priority,It's nothing to fight about...:) its the matter of taste and every individual differs at his or her taste buds..
Wendy's absolutely and without a doubt. My final answer.
In - N - Out Burgers, if you're in the West, especially Cali.
Or, if you're around North Carolina, Cookout.
Both are small family-run businesses, and frankly astounding in quality.
Of course, if you're around Davis, CA, go for "Murder Burger," and if in Jackson, Mississippi, Whataburger.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
