Do you prefer to be woken up by an alarm clock, by radio music or by some other means? Please discuss your preferred method to wake up?

Well first of all I don't like to be woken up but if id have to choose by the the radio its not as anoyying as an alarm clock. But a funny thing is my ant used to sing my cousin a song in the morning to wake her up I belive it was youre my sun shine and she is now older and married and she told her husband about that and he decided to do it and she said she had one of the best days of her life when he woke her up that way I guess it just autamatically wakes you up on the right side of the bed.

My Shih Tzu wakes me up, if I'm not up already, at about 7:30am. I have a four-legged alarm clock that licks my face until I get up to take him outside. If I have to be up earlier than this, I'm usually up by 7am EST, then I use an alarm clock, set to that annoying beep sound and placed across the room so I have to get up to shut it off.

Even my coffee pot is set to brew at 6:50am everyday. youtube.com/watch?v=3pus-JAc8Ps.

I don't know about everyone else here, but I am a very tight sleeper. It is difficult for me to wake up in the mornings. Alarm clocks work for a while, but then I start getting used to that annoying sound and block it out.

I eventually sleep right through it while everyone else in the house wakes up. For this reason, I started using an alarm clock that plays my favorite music. I would blast it at full volume every morning, but that still didn't work for long.

Nowadays, I started using a bucket of water. I have one on top of my nightstand every morning, so all my parents have to do is to pull it forward and it lands on my head. It worked.

After a week of doing that and bickering with my parents, I always get up at 6:30 - without an alarm clock, bucket of water, or radio. It became a habit of mine in just a week.

My cell phone has become my alarm of choice but even that scares the crap out of me everyday! Way to start our days - with a blast of loud noise! It used to be that people lived by circadian rhythm - the natural rhythm of life - go to bed at sundown and wake up automatically at sunrise but not anymore.

The world is awake 24/7 and we have created a crazy lifestyle for ourselves full of all kinds of bells and whistles, ipods, computers, plasma tvs, cell phones, digital cameras, etc.... now I need a nap!

A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
