Do You Think an Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) Is A Serious Security Concern?

Yes, we should because all EMPs are caused by nuclear explosions. Non-nuclear EMP is generated by chemical explosives. Whether it is EMP or non-nuclear EMP, US should be concerned and prepared for any kind of attacks.

From what I have been reading this is a serious concern in two ways.

One would be from an unfriendly nation detonating such a device within the US borders. The EMP could be of varying size.

The second and perhaps is the possible EMP from our own sun. This could be the most devastating and take years to recover from.

EMP can take out cruse controls, or most importantly hinder my ability to go on the internet. That will be devastating...

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
