I don't think he should be euthanized. And I don't believe that other domesticated animals should either. I think the whale should be released to the wild, unless there's something that prevents them from doing that.
And in that case, I think that anybody who volunteers to work with him knows what he/she is getting in to. That sounds insensitive, but he's killed before. That's common knowledge.
The trainers knew that going into that pen. As far as other animals go, I think that most of that can be chalked up to human error. We've bred dogs like rotties and pits to be aggressive.
We've trained them to attack; and encouraged those who attack best to breed. We've killed the pacifists. Generally (NOT ALWAYS) the "killer" dogs are encouraged to be killers.
If anything, the human breeders, owners, and trainers should be punished, and the dog should be rehabilitated. More.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
