Well, we've all heard the old saying "there's no smoke without fire" and sometimes that old saying has been wrong but we still think it so. Yes, I think she's right.
I certainly agree both parties should be treated the same and receive the same anonymity especially in sex cases where mud sticks even if the accused is found not guilty. I don't think it would deter anyone from coming forward. Why should it?
The person complained against would still appear in court. Its just their names would not be given until convicted. It seems to me any one can accuse any one one of anything and destroy their reputation and good name even if convicted.
The usual "no smoke" is taken notice of.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
