OMG! I haven't heard the phrase "Teach-In" since the 60s. It is a good concept, which I like, but I haven't heard yet what they are teaching.
On with the film:...... The blue-clad agent provocateur with the silvery beard ignores that 70% of American jobs are located in small businesses. Clearly he has adopted the Marxist/Leninist Soviet view of Capitalism as having to do with large Industry, which actually no longer exists in America today. Perhaps he is talking about office workers?
Government workers? http://www.google.com/imgres?q=soviet+wo... on with the film.... oops, she said paradine. Obviously college indoctrinated.
I just can't wait to hear the words Bourgeoisie and Proletariat. I can feel it coming.... on with the film..... Hmmm... didn't hear those words. The key question asked was "who owns my labor?"
I know the answer: I do. My labor is property which I own. What's it worth?
Supreme Court says my labor is worth what it brings in the marketplace on that day, just like any other property. So how does the IRS claim I make a profit or gain ("Income") by selling my labor? If no profit or gain,.
If it is a quid pro quo straight trade, value = value, I don't have any "Income" and therefore my labor can not be taxed. BRING IT ALL DOWN MAN! OFF the IRS!
Well, by making sure your sales of your labor are not taxable, since one is not an employer or an employee. Free Humans selling their labor on the open market can not profit from their own labor because it is always exchanged for an equal value in goods, services or money. No "profit" = no "Income" therefore no income tax.
I rest my case. EDIT: oops didn't answer your question. I have a son in the 82nd Airborne.
They will follow orders. I am a Veteran (USAF) and find it hard to believe in today's all-volunteer military that any subversives will make any inroads into perverting our military toward supporting any revolution. That's just not going to happen.
America's military will defend the constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. .... I just wish our politicians would blow the dust off it once in a while and read it....
I just want to laugh about this sometimes. These people make no sense to me. They don't look like they are starving.
I see Union, Nam vets, and nut jobs trying to convince each other to be against capitalism which is the way China and all progressive nations are heading. Why do they think the European way is the only way. Why don't they talk about those failures.
People will never be equal making the same amount of money, period. It is not how the human body works and needs. We need incentives, we need to prove ourselves, we like to challenge our minds.
They want everyone to have no ambition, no fortitude no reason to get up in the morning. What kind of a life is that? They nor anyone else is going to ever convince the populous of America to be against capitalism and that includes our military who are more proud of America than those loonies are!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
