Some old guy gave pit either magical shoes or wings...or that halo thing made out of gold above his head. Then when he took them the old man was like "You're not just a kid, you are kid Icarus! Now fly!".
Because in the Greek story Icarus had a mentor and flew because of the mentor. The story is called kid icarus. He is Pit.
Because it's kind of Greek mythology themed and they thought it sounded good. Pit isn't really a good title for a game anyway. I guess they chose Icarus because of the wings?
Also Nintendo was particularly weird about naming things back then. Metroid's main character isn't Metroid, Legend of Zelda's main character isn't Zelda, Donkey Kong's main character wasn't really Donkey Kong, etc.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
