Salam Yes it could create the mess in Muslim world if Muslims diving more importance to hadith and abandoning the Qur'an.
There was no time period in which Hadith were not followed in the Muslim World. Alhamdulillah. (And by not following them, such a person is not a part of the Muslim World).
Yet the Muslim world has been through periods of victories and through losses. So clearly, this is not because of "following Hadith". It's because of the opposite reason actually.. due to abandoning the Sunnah.
AND, this argument of yours is actually like the Kuffar who say that more emphasis is put on Prophet Muhammad? Than on Allah?. Both groups of people are deceiving themselves.
Hadith (Sunnah) just explain all what the Qur'an outlined. By following the Sunnah, you are following the Qur'an. More so.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
