Do you think someone you met could change your view of the world and how you view yourself?

Absolutely! I'm a senior in college right now and before I met one of my professors, I was totally lost about what to do in life. I didn't know what to major in, nor what to do after graduation.

Life sucked. But after taking his class, I discovered a new passion and kind of rediscovered how awesome school is (seriously). Like just talking to certain people and seeing what they've gone through in their lives and what they've accomplished makes you want to do the same.

Most certainly :). I have had one person in particular who dramatically changed the way I see the world, and everyone after that who has ever been important in my life seems to alter my outlook in some way -- even if it's almost imperceptible -- so that the way I see things now are very, very different than the way I saw them 10 years ago. I'm sure that the older I get the less that outlook will change over time, but it most definitely does happen.

Possibly. But I am fifty-five years old and have had a long time to think about the world. So, I am skeptical.

Still, how could you not be open to new ideas? Thank you for asking. Regards,Art.

Absolutely! An open mind is an amazing thing...and leads to new ideas and growth. A closed mind is stagnation with zero stimulation.

I'd like to think that I impact people and situations and welcome it in return.

Everyone I meet has an effect on me and changes my view of the world. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. I have lived all over the United States and am open to new opportunities and experiences from people.

I enjoy learning about new cultures. What better way to learn about how others do things than interacting with people? My opinion of myself and the world has changed both for better and worse from meeting people.

Some people have influenced me in a negative way and make me more pessimistic about the world. Others have opened my eyes to new ways of doing things and of looking at the world around me.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
