Call a doctor (ob-gyn,) if you don't have one...You need professional advice now, not ordinary amateur opinion! Call the local Women's Center for info and don't mess around.

Sorry, the details did not appear until after I had responded. I was concerned about the length of the pregnancy, not so much the castor oil question. I haven't a clue about castor oil's ability to bring about labor.

There is an old wive's tale that says yes. Castor Oil brings on diarrhea which will make you cramp, sometimes those cramps stimulate uterine contractions. Most doctors do not recommend castor oil for labor induction.

40 weeks is exactly at term by the way, they will usually induce you at 41 or more. They almost never let you get past 42.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
