Please learn some history. The human race already DID survive an Ice Age. It was because of the Ice Age that humans were able to populate almost every corner of the Earth.. The human race may very well survive even after the planet is destroyed.

They will not be here and we will not look anything like what we do today.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
