I completely agree with you. The credit card companies make it too easy to get credit cards and we fall easy- Hook, line, and sinker. We are responsible for our own credit card debt and mistakes, you are so right.
When we moved out here, there was a mortgage company that was being sued for giving people loans above and beyond what people could afford. There were probably 1 to 3 houses on every block in the community that were in foreclosure. Is it the banks fault?
Or is it the homeowners fault for agreeing to get a mortgage and monthly payment above and beyond what they could afford? Well, my thoughts were that the home owners should have realized they could not afford the monthly payments. But the company was found at fault.
I think we need to take responsibility for our own actions. If someone gave us a key to a bank vault and access to go in and rob the bank, should we? It is our responsibility to make good decisions.
If you would see my house you would not think it was that great. We got what we could afford and it was a foreclosure. It still needs alot of URL1 many of my friends and family have nicer, bigger houses.
The trend near me is if you are approved for $300,000 to find a house for $300,000. To me, that does not make sense. It is just what people are in the habit of doing. flickr.com/photos/gnerk/2466566500.
Credit card companies are somewhat responsible because almost anyone can obtain a credit card. When I graduated from high-school, I remember that companies were actively trying to persuade college-bound students to apply for a credit card. However, as you stated, we are responsible for the choices we make.So if a company decides to extend a line of credit to us, as consumers it is up to us to use the credit wisely.
While a cash only way of living would probably be best as a preventative method for not going in debt, we live in a society where people need credit in order to purchase automobiles, homes, or even start their own business. The best way to avoid becoming one of millions of people that rack up debt is to pay off the balance in full each month, In doing so, you’re only paying back the amount of the purchase and not incurring interest charges. In addition to that, you’re improving your credit score at the same time. While a lot of people don’t really the idea of credit being so readily available to everyone, especially to younger people, credit will more than likely be around for many years to come.
The best way not fall into the debt trap is to either destroy every offer you receive or make sound decisions if you do decide to have a credit card.
Credit card companies are predatory. In essence they are plunders preying on and seeking to exploit and oppress people, with the help of Congress.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
