Most planetary scientists now believe that the Moon was formed when the proto-Earth suffered a glancing blow from a planet sized object (about the size of Mars) during its formative years when the Solar System was in its infancy (approximately 4 billion years ago).
They base this on the fact that the composition (both isotopic and chemical) of Moon rock and the Earth's crust are identical.
Some books published in the 1960s stated just this, with the diagram and explanation that the moon came out of land that is now the Pacific Ocean. I don't know what the truth is about it.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
