Metal fans have always liked new and original sounding bands. We definitely have our influences but I think we offer a sound and style that's unique to ourselves and will catch some interest. What is your opinion of some of your peers from the late 80's and their imminent decline?
Some bands never evolved and some bands simply tried to copy the sound/ style of the newest happening thing. I think the trick is to evolve with the times but at the same time be true to yourself and your style. Do you think Diamond Rexx was underappreciated during those years?
I think it was more a matter of being under exposed. We have a very loyal and strong, strong underground fanbase through the States and Europe. I am reminded of bands like Kiss and Alice Cooper when I listen to The Evil, do you have an influence from bands like those?
Funny you mention those two. Both put on some of the wildest live shows around. We're in the same vein.
If you have not seen us live, you're not getting the whole ...
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
