Probably San Jose State or Minnesota because of who their opponent is. BQ: Obviously. When you have 3 teams that are 5-7 and 1 bowl game that will actually pit 2 MWC teams against each other (Arizona Bowl has Colorado State vs Nevada), it's a problem.
The problems started years ago when the bowl games started tying themselves to conferences and because of that a 10-2 Northern Illinois was left out of a bowl game because the MAC didn't have enough bowl tie-ins in 2003. Since then, new bowl games have been added almost every year and has watered down the product.
I'd say 20 Bowl games is more then enough. Then again I think saying 8 wins to be Bowl eligible would pretty much solve the problem as well. Although if you did that teams couldn't brag about how many years they have been to Bowl games.
They WANT all these Bowl games because next year they say we went to one, they don't want people looking in to which one the ywent to.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
