Do you think the Supreme Court made the right decision in the Bush vs. Gore case in 2000?

No. After the election the state of Florida tried to recount the votes three or four times, but each recount was interrupted by a GOP lawsuit. The only recount that was done was the one immediately after the vote tallying where they just ran the ballots through the machine again.

Finally the state decided to look at every ballot to determine 'voter intent' through 'pregnant' and 'hanging chads'. This also was interrupted. The Supreme Court of Florida said they needed to finish the recount, and THEN they had the US Supreme Court stop it.

A year later a group of newspapers and media outlets ponied up the money to actually finish the recount and, guess what? Gore would have won. Republicans and conservatives have always whined about the SC 'legislating from the bench', about 'judicial activism' and the violating of states' rights.

This decision shows their incredible hypocrisy on these issues!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
