Do you think the Tea Party will lead to another Oklahoma City Bombing?

The actual choice of date could mean two things. One, it was a random choice and thereby of no significance. Two, it was chosen for its signal value (the bombing) to sent a message to those that the Tea Party believe to be their political masters, that an extremism fraction does exist and that they support the actions of others of the same observance, (the perpetrators of the bombing).

Why a political movement like the Tea Party should wish to have a military wing, can only lead one's thoughts to the military wings of the extreme right parties of Europe, during the 30's. At the very root of the Tea parties activities can be found, Obarma's concern for the well-being of the nation generally. A well-being that encompasses all and not just the right, is definitely not Palin's cut of tea.

The signal value of Oklahoma city and the Boston tea party are strong signals to send, implying that the States belong to them.

I would assume something more sinister. I'd be willing to wager that if you were to go listen, you'd hear McVeigh linked to Obama in some way. As for attention paid to "ours" vs "theirs", there just are a lot more of theirs.

I mean, I don't like paying taxes. It's not my favorite pastime. I also don't think it's moral to run a deficit and steal from the next generation.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
