Its made people too casual and lazy in their use of English, all the text abbreviations, lack of punctuation and terrible grammar make me groan. More than anything it makes people mean, blunt and cruel. People text or email things they would never say in person.
Communication is defiantly breaking down. Social skills are declining, manners and politeness have gone out the window.
Well it doesn't "Make" us that way. It is just a means to an end some people have already chosen.. ignorance. Technology like anything, has an equal measure of positive and negative consequences and influences.
People who are already ignorant and unaware simply use technology to remain ignorant and unaware.. Those who wish to know can use technology to learn more than ever before.. It all depends how you use it, and what you are to begin with. If you start out as a shallow, rude and gossipy person, then that is what you will use technology in continuance of.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
