Do you view Nasa's last space Shuttle Flight as a start of a decline for the USA, the end of an era?

I am slightly disheartened since I have had an infatuation with the universe since I was a kid; with no delusions that I would ever be an astronaut (math is hard). This illustrates exactly what education statistics have shown us for decades; America is falling behind in science. The rocket design we have used until this point was designed largely by Werner Von Braun (a German) and most of our advances in nuclear technology were the result of research conducted by foreigners.

Now, foreign scientists have little reason to come to America. I truly hope we get it together. It's sort of ironic that American astronauts will be hitching rides with Russian cosmonauts for the next few years.

No, I think it is just the beginning. Hopefully scrapping the shuttle program will inspire people to think of new space exploration ideas that will hopefully take us to manned missions to Mars and beyond.

This is the end of an era in space exploration, but is opening the doors to a new era of space exploration.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
