Do your personal beliefs include anything that could be described as supernatural or paranormal?

I attach absolutely no value judgments to anything you say here. I'm a skeptic by nature, but even I have occasionally seen and felt things I couldn't explain away rationally. "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.

Oh yeah. My personal beliefs include God This means that a whole class of beings exist that we are really unacquainted with. They are called "angels," from the Greek for "messenger."

Basically, we only see them when they deliver messages, but the vast majority of their time is spent worshiping God (which is a kind of message, really. ) To clarify, those are the angels who worship God. There are angels who do not worship God, but are in active rebellion against God on the theory that if they can make one of then God can't judge them for whatever they've done .. And they get to continue pestering us folks on earth.

The problem with their theory is that it rests on a gamble that God doesn't know what He's doing. He does. But meanwhile, these rebellious angels (a.k.a.

, demons or devils) work up all kinds of imitations and illusions, from ghosts to U.F.O.'s. And they are very good at what they do. My brother showed me his photograph of a ghost, and another of a U.F.O., neither of which he saw at the time he took the photograph.

That's a neat trick, but also physically impossible. Beings who do what is naturally impossible are supernatural. And folks who listen to their messages are both steered away from God and are more likely to indulge in drug use and resort to suicide.

1 I have personal experiences with most all you mentioned and yes I not only believe but have been there and done that. This user has been banned from Askville.

I think this is scarier than the movie Paranormal Activity!

Looking for a paranormal romance published before 2003 about a woman given as a bride to a shapeshifter.

Which classes of paranormal phenomena, if any, have a grounding in scientific fact, i.e. , are legitimate?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
