You need to talk to your close friend about telling everyone about something that they did not have the right to tell and was personal. You also need to make it clear to everyone that it bothers you that they continue to bring up your crush, that it is disrespectful, and that they need to stop. Finally, you need to talk to your crush and access his feelings because not everyone is comfortable with that amount of attention or even being viewed romantically.
