Does Alaska have 6 months of sunlight and six months of darkness?

The reason why Alaska has 6 months in the day and night, is because the Earth's axis is tilted. Meaning that Alaska is in the North and in the spring and summer it will point at the sun. In the winter and fall, the sun will point to the opposite way from the sun.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
