I adore Madison Square Park. Now, before going on, I don't want you to get confused. There's Madison Square Park and Madison Square Garden - two totally different entities.
Madison Squark Garden (also know as "The Garden"- host concerts, and sporting events. Madison Square Park is the adorable park on 23rd Street right off the R,W line of the subway. The great thing about this park is that it is underrated, so anytime other than lunch time, you can always find a bench on which to read or spend an afternoon people watching.
Within the park is a food shack, which offers almost gourmet hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream and coffee, so there's no reason to get up and go to far to satisfy your hunger. Madison Square Park is also host to plenty of outdoor art exhibits and screenings. I watched the US Open in a lawn chair with about 50 other people inside the park's emptied water fountain - so cool.
Also, unlike Union Square just ten block away, the rats aren't taking over the park! Was this review …? Review from Atakan D.
It's a good place for sitting, people watching and daydreaming! Was this review …? Review from Sheila A.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
