Hard to judge It's difficult to apply an exact number to this question. Most universities are made up of separate colleges. For instance, Radford University is comprised of seven colleges: College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business and Economics, College of Education and Human Development, Waldron College of Health and Human Services, College of Information Science and Technology, College of Visual and Performing Arts, and the College of Graduate and Extended Education. So how do you count that?
As one university and not count the colleges, or just count the colleges. A good resource for Colleges and Universities can be found here: http://www.univsource.com/ Sources: http://www.univsource.com/ Google Map View Larger Map .

__________________According to the Association of American Colleges and Universities there are two thousand six hundred eighteen accredited four-year colleges and universities in the Unites States. The provinces and territories are responsible for all levels of education including universities. There's no federal ministry of education or formal accreditation system.
Instead, membership in the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada, coupled with the university's provincial government charter, is generally deemed the equivalent. Currently, there are 92 universities with membership in AUCC. 1 PJinNH, regarding your answer "Hard to judge":Thanks! What I was referring to are the "umbrella" institutions...not the colleges within them. When I referred to colleges, I meant institutions that are not universities, but are stand alone.
And, now that I think of it, it would help me to find out how many internationally as well (just a good ballpark). I look forward to looking at the website you forwarded. Thanks again!
I appreciate it.

Why are community colleges cheaper than universities.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
