The answer will depend on what you want to import .... and why. Generally speaking, there are companies out there that can help you with most of the process. Freight forwarders or third party logistics copmanies can help you execute all aspects of moving the product (companies like UPS and Expeditors Int'l).
But actually finding places to source and buy the product require a little more work. I can't specifically recommend anyone to help you with that. But if you already know who you're going to buy from then it's just a matter of contacting one of those companies I mentioned above and they'll handle everything for you.
If you plan to import on a regular basis you'll need to establish a "continuous" bond with U.S. Customs, and you're off and running. Your forwarder or 3PL can do all this for you then act as your customs broker and handle everything for you going forward. More.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
