Does anyone know how to get a scared cat out from under a bed? She knows we're going on a car trip so treats don't work. Has to be by force?

Even a scared cat may be enticed from under a bed with a long piece of string or yarn, waved to and fro where the cat can see it. Most cats will not be able to resist taking a pounce at it. Another way to get the cat is with an animal capture net that can be thrown over the cat and pulled towards you.

Trapping cages that are mostly used for feral cats is another option. These are mostly used when the cat is definitely not to be touched. A house cat that is perfectly tame may also scratch or bite if the animal really doesn't want to be captured, but that usually depends on the individual cat's personality.

Try playing a ringtone with singing. Every cat is different but mine came out every time.
