Does anyone know of a wireless or ethernet Infrared blaster?

RedEye WiFi to IR Software for the iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch is available right now. "RedEye is actually a small Linux server. It uses standard Internet technologies like TCP and HTTP, and sends around information in XML documents.

Why do you care? Because it means that RedEye isn’t just a remote control platform for your iPhone. In theory, any Internet-connected device can communicate with RedEye.

We will soon be releasing a software update that enables you to control RedEye from any PC with a basic web browser. And going forward we plan to develop software specific to other devices including the iPad and Android phones.

IR Blaster (USB-UIRT) Cable Pack This USB device creates a wireless, infrared connection between your cable or satellite box and the PC running Beyond TV. (Includes audio and video cable. ) $49.99.

This would require some work/programming but the only thing that comes to mind is setting up arduino(s) with a zigbee shield or the wifi shield and having them run some software for IR send/receive.

I am thinking of taking a small amount of power from it. 2) does anyone know offhand what size jack the IR blaster on the replay is? I am not home, and want to pick up the proper size enroute.

- edit: it appears that most IR blasters for sale are 3.5mm jacks. Can anyone confirm this?
