Perhaps they are having trouble with their contract with provider in China. Walmart probably wants them to hire even younger children to lower their costs.

Products come and products go in every store. Especially today. I'm noticing a reduction in choices across the board, from the supermarkets to the department stores.

I always used Drs. Foster and Smith for flea and tick products. They answer your questions before you buy.

Walmart is not an ethical store and I wouldn't use any products they sell on a living creature.

Then why bother to answer. ">>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>What are beating her up for? You asked a silly question.

If you want a specific answer, why aren't you asking Walmart directly. This is a Q&A site. We don' work for any one retail operation.

Don't bully people for not knowing things they couldn't possibly know.

Wasn't "beating her up". I come here for real answers AFTER I've hit a brick wall everywhere else. ShepS 5 months ago .

Already tried to Contact Walmart. They aren't talking. And Oh, Max it wasn't a discontinued item They actually said the "pulled it from the shelves".

I had already given it to my pets and want to make sure there is not harm. Thank for the site. ShepS 5 months ago .

Sorry this isn't Walmart, if you want to know why, try calling THEM.

Did that didn't get an answer..............just like here. ShepS 5 months ago .

IF there is an issue with the product it would be on THEIR website. OR, check other stores are they still carrying it, was Walmart the ONLY store to pull it? Do a little research online, it is still being sold, maybe they just didn't want to do business with Walmart, they haven't exactly got the best reputation, if you've been watching the news.

Yes, Merial makes Frontline Plus which is the brand name of this product. Merial got their patent upheld in court for the combination product of Fipronil and S-methoprene so any generics that are out there now have to be pulled off the market. It's a patent infringement.

Nothing wrong with the product.

Yes, the patent for the combination of Fipronil & (S)-methoprene is NOT off patent. The only ingredient that is off patent is Fipronil. They lost in a patent dispute and were in violation.

Fipronil is what kills the fleas and (S)-methoprene is an insect growth regulator.

Went to walmart to get some pet armor plus I did not fine any, so I ask someone that worked there he said they have a recall .

Our vet said not to use Pet Armor since a dog died from it recently so I am wondering if that's part of the reason .

I heard that the makers of Frontline are suing them for patent infringement, though I don't know how they'll win, given that the patent for Frontline expired in March. In the meantime, Frontline gets all the money from consumers, and the pets suffer if owners can't afford it.

Animals were having seizures. Rather than face a class action suite, Walmart agreed to quit sellling it once their stop was depleated. They were having it manufactured for them specifically.

Now I saw a commercial last night and Target and a couple of other stores are now selling it, but Walmart was not one of them. This stuff in inferior and being manufactured in China. That should tell you something.

I used it on my cat and he started acting odd and walking strangely also. I will never use this stuff again. Met a gentleman that had to throw his little dog in the tub because he started having seizures almost immediately.

Ended up in ER.

Don't know about Wal-Mart pulling this off the shelf. It is still available other places like Amazon so there hasn't been some sort of recall. If you are concerned about health issues with this product for your pet, I can tell you that I heard on the news that Consumers Reports rated it a best buy.

I just bought some for my dogs which I will be using this weekend.

It doesn't work- too many complaints- too many returns. Get your Frontline Plus from a veterinarian where it is backed by the Merial (manufacturer) guarnantee.

If you are worried about safety buy through ethical lines. I would not take a pill I purchased on line from a foreign discount pharmacy either. How do you know it is what they say it is?

Lots of counterfeit drugs out there. Be safe.

My Vet told me there are masses of law suits against the makers of PetArmor, from owners of injured pets to the makers of Frontline. I bought PetArmor at WalMart and used it as directed on my 80 lb male golden, two days later he developed at 8 inch round chemical burn at the application site,it was bloody and starting to develop pus, I took him to the vet and he confirmed it was caused from the PetArmor, he told me the carrier solution they use IS NOT THE SAME as Frontline, just the active ingredient is, they actually use xylene, a type of paint thinner,my poor dog was shaved and surgically scrubbed the open wound then gave him a shot of antibiotics, he was also put on oral antibiotics for 10 days. $220.00 spent at the Vet to save 20 bucks on the flea prevention.

This product is made in China. I contacted FidoPharm who is actually Valcera Chemical and threatened to bring legal action if they didn't cover my medical expenses. They contacted the ASPSC and my vet and paid all the Vet bills and medicine costs, too bad I couldn't get them to pay for the severe pain my dog was in for a week.

NEVER AGAIN. PLEASE DON'T cheap out on your dog or cats health.

SORRY, this product is made in India NOT China.

Velcera To Appeal Against Court Ruling On Sanofi's Pet Drug PatentBy Inti Landauro Published July 01, 2011| Dow Jones Newswires Print Email Share CommentsinShare.0 Text Size PARIS -(Dow Jones)- U.S. -based Velcera Inc. (VLCR) will appeal a court ruling which ordered the removal of its anti-flea drug for pets from retail stores, the company's Chief Executive Dennis Steadman said Friday. A court in Georgia, USA ordered the seizure of the product PetArmor Plus saying it violated a patent held by Merial, a unit of French pharmaceutical giant Sanofi (SAN.FR).

The court also said it will conduct further hearings to determine whether Velcera and India-based Cipla Ltd.(500087. BY), which is manufacturing the drug on behalf of Velcera, might have to pay compensation to Merial. The court suspended the seizure order for 60 days, pending the appeal, Dennis Steadman told Dow Jones Newswires in an interview on Friday.

He said the patent on the main active product of Merial's drug Frontline Plus is invalid in the U.S.Since 2010 and his company is entitled to produce the drug. "We feel we are right in using the patent to make a generic drug," Steadman said."It's a David and Goliath story and we know how that story ended," he added. Velcera put its drug on the market on April 20 and has responded to Merial's lawsuit with another lawsuit on the validity of the patent in Delaware.

Velcera's partner Cipla said it, too, will appeal the ruling. I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
