Does anyone think congress will vote YES this week to extend the FEDERAL EXTENSION UNEMPLOYMENT next week?

3 I am of the assumption that it could go either way. I would like to take this time to point out that I personally spend at least 8 hours a day looking for jobs. The problem (that anyone looking for one in this depression of ours will tell you) is that there are 6 jobs for every 15 people that need one, and they will ultimately hire the person that requires the least pay and benefits, and can still successfully carry out the job requirements.

This means that if you need to pay a babysitter so you can go to work, and you drive there or pay for public transportation, it is no longer profitable to be paid 7.25 an hour with an 850 mortgage. This makes things a little unconventional. Instead of pointing fingers at one another and saying you should spend more time looking for jobs so your family doesn't starve, perhaps we could be helpful and compassionate.

I say, where do you live, start an in home container garden by a window, start to grow tomato plants and other small veggies. Buy your things as cheaply as possible and combine your trips. Anticipate that the government will fail to pass this again, so you are not left shocked.

I have been trying to get work from home, doing data entry online, putting up ad's on craigslist, etc...Where there is a will, there is a way, and I am an AMERICAN, I do not give up so easily. I wish you the best of luck, as well as the rest of my fellow AMERICANS that are in a bad spot with no job and none in sight.

Yes they will vote on it....no it will not be passed...we can no longer spend money we do not have...focus your attn on getting a job so your family will not starve...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
