You will feel a pinch when they give you the local anesthesia. For most doctors, you will be awake during the entire procedure, so as the anesthesia starts to wear off, and you start to feel what they are doing, you can let the doctor know and he will give you more. No need to be afraid, just make sure you pick a doctor who you feel you can trust.
What the doctors don't tell you: When you are done with the surgery, walking out of the office, you are in pain. Not major pain, but pain like you have 2 major deep cuts over your eyes with stitches (well, cause you do). Your eyes will be extremely swollen, and will look even smaller than they did before the surgery.
It will be depressing to look in the mirror for awhile. I walked out of that doctor's office crying (or trying really hard not to cause crying makes it hurt more) thinking to myself - why oh why did I do this to myself? I remember being really depressed for a little while.
1 week later, stitches came out. 1 week after that, all ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
