Does cream cheese freeze well?

I have frozen it when I got a good buy on it. It does not change the taste but it does change the texture. If you are going to use it in something, it should be ok.

If you were going to use it on a platter for people to use as a spread it may not be so great. Just remember to thaw it in the fridge a day or so ahead of time because normally microwaving thins it out to much.

I freeze cheese all the time as I buy in bulk and keep out only the amount that we will use up before it goes bad. Once thawed, the taste remains the same but the cheese will crumble instead of spread or cut nicely. If you are going to use it in cooking or for yourself, the texture shouldn't matter but I would suggest buying fresh if you will be using it for guests.

Yes it will be ok because it has been there for only a week. I have kept it frozen up to 3 weeks...

The answer is Yes and No. I know that sounds funny but YES you can freeze it. Will it be as good as if it had never been frozen?

Well that depends on how you plan to use it. Cream Cheese – You can freeze it directly in the original package. It does change the consistency once frozen however if are using it in cooking or heated then just use a spoon to smooth the texture then it is no problem.

You can also microwave it to smooth as well. As it cools it will not be as creamy as if unfrozen so I find it best to use for cooking or not in its original form for best results. I freeze it all of the time!

I use it for skyline dip and taco dip or other recipes that call for cream cheese. It can also be used for spreading but I do find it to be crumbly so you do have to use a spoon smooth and microwave it to get it back to a somewhat normal consistency. However it will work.

I often use it for a cheese ball, pepperoni rolls and salami rolls as well. You can also freeze Philadelphia Cooking Cream. It works fine because you are cooking with it!

I have frozen it and then thawed it and microwaved it to smooth and then cooked with it.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
