Does Herman Cain stand a chance to win Republican nomination?

I hope so. Of all the Republican candidates, he seems like he has the best economic background to be taken seriously. Clinton won, not on his moral or ethical qualities, but because of his slogan "It's the economy, Stupid."

If Cain takes that same stance, he might stand a chance. However, if you think he can affect social issues, prayer in schools, creationism as part of a science curriculum, abortion, gay marriage, etc., I'd put those hopes aside. Presidents may speak of those things in order to appeal to one constituency or another.

But none have ever done anything about them. Those are matters left to the courts, ultimately the supreme court. And despite a largely conservative flavor among the Justices, abortion remains legal, and religious issues, like prayer in schools and creationism as science, remain unconstitutional.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
