Does it make more sense to have a daemon spawn out of inittab or be spawned by ServiceGuard as a Services?

It makes more sense to move the daemon process from inittab and make it a service. ServiceGuard will (just like init) monitor the Process ID. If it fails, it can be restarted on the same node without moving the package.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
